Hey there!

I’m Rachel!

I’m a 200hr+ certified yoga teacher, stretch coach and a certified holistic nutrition coach. I’m the founder of ZenChin Yoga with a passion to bring you the tools needed to establish more peace within your mind and body.

I’ve been teaching Gravity Yoga® since 2021 and continue to deepen my studies on the human anatomy and physiology so that I may continue to bring you a scientific approach to establishing and maintaining a stretching practice best suited for you.

I have and continue to receive training through YOGABODY, Yoga Medicine and the American Fitness Professionals & Associates.

MY STORY

I began practicing yoga at a young age and slowly began to incorporate it into my daily routine as part of my regimen to keep my mind and body healthy. Eventually I began to run into obstacles that prevented me from achieving my goals, as most people do.

There were yoga poses I could not get myself into no matter what I did. Instead of becoming discouraged, I decided to resort to other options.

I began practicing Gravity Yoga® as a way to increase my flexiblity and support my home yoga practice.

The deep stretches not only made my struggle poses more accessible to me but I also found a new sense of freedom within my body. I felt confident in my ability to take my practice to another level with all this new found flexibility!

I grew happier and more at peace with myself too. Suddenly simple tasks such as walking and getting up off the floor became easier…I began to enjoy my life more.
